Learn to calm the mind using your breath.
Breathing techniques & meditation are effective tools to bring out the best in us and enhance the overall quality of our life. We’ll experience this through guided pranayama and a relaxing meditation. This is a one-hour workshop. You’ll learn practical tools to calm and clear the mind.

SKY Meditation is unique in that it uses the breath as a doorway into meditation. Practitioners are able to have a deep experience of meditation from their very first session.
You’ll leave the course with a comprehensive and beautifully designed practice you can do every day to bring about a state of physical, mental, and emotional peace and well-being. The value grows over time, as the benefits continue to blossom in daily life.
In addition to gaining a daily practice, SKY course graduates will be welcomed into a local community of meditators who come together weekly to practice and connect.
Marlene Sandhu has taught SKY Meditation since 2006. She leads trainings for business professionals, university students as well as grade-school children. She is the Program Director for YES! for Schools in the DC Metropolitan Area bringing SKY Meditation to students, teachers, administrators and parents to transform communities.
Previously, Marlene pioneered interactive programming for people living with Alzheimer’s Disease, creating and conducting training modules for caregivers. She lives in Virginia with her husband and two children.
