Breathing techniques & meditation are effective tools to bring out the best in us and enhance the overall quality of our life. We’ll experience this through guided pranayama and a relaxing meditation. This is a one-hour workshop. You’ll learn practical tools to calm and clear the mind.

SKY Meditation is unique in that it uses the breath as a doorway into meditation. Practitioners are able to have a deep experience of meditation from their very first session.
You’ll leave the course with a comprehensive and beautifully designed practice you can do every day to bring about a state of physical, mental, and emotional peace and well-being. The value grows over time, as the benefits continue to blossom in daily life.
In addition to gaining a daily practice, SKY course graduates will be welcomed into a local community of meditators who come together weekly to practice and connect.
Priya Narayanan, M.D. is a forensic psychiatrist and founding member of Doctors for Meditation – a consortium of doctors with an interest in alternative modalities of treatment including meditation. She is involved in reviewing the research pertaining to practice of yoga and meditation as an adjunct to conventional psychiatric treatment. Her recent work involves working with the chronically mentally ill in Southern California.
A passionate filmmaker, doctor Narayanan’s award winning short film “The Breadfruit Tree” has received acclaim from festivals around the world. She has also written/directed short documentaries on the benefits of yoga and breathing techniques for victims in war and disaster prone areas of India.
Michael Fischman is the National Director of the SKY Breathing Meditation Program and author of the multiple-award-winning memoir, Stumbling Into Infinity: An Ordinary Man in the Sphere of Enlightenment. A former advertising executive with Ogilvy & Mather, he was a founding member and long-serving president of the U.S. Art of Living Foundation.
